Assessment for Viewpoint Studios – East Molesey
Ground Floor
To access the main building you would need to climb 8 steps to the front door with brown doors that open to a width of 38.5”/98.5 cm. A second inner front door with a security intercom system. The width of the inner door is 35.5”/90.5 cm.
The ground floor consists of a ‘Boardroom’, ‘Tudor’ studio, demonstration kitchen and 4 uni–sex toilets with separate shower room.
- Boardroom; has a door width of 31”/79.5 cm. There is an exit door from the Boardroom to the garden, which is a large step up to the main frame of the door way with a width of 39½”/100.5 cm. Number of 8 steps down to the garden. There is an inter–connecting door from the Boardroom to the Tudor studio with a width of 27”/69.5 cm
- Tudor studio; the hallway is measured at 30”/76.5 cm. The doors to both rooms, discussion room and respondent room have a width of 28½”/73 cm.
- Demonstration kitchen, door width of 27”/69.5 cm
- 4 uni–sex toilets and separate shower room; main door to ground floor toilets width of 28½”/73 cm. Door to separate shower room width of 27½”/70.5 cm. Doors to 4 toilets all 27½”/70.5 cm.
1st Floor
1 st flight of stairs up to 1 st floor landing 13 steps. 2 nd flight of stairs up to 1 st floor 6 steps. The 1 st floor consist 2 studios, ‘The Mitre’ and ‘The Hampton ’, demonstration kitchen and 2 uni–sex toilets on middle landing.
- The Mitre Studio; entrance to the client viewing room has a width of 28”/71.5 cm. The entrance to the discussion room 28½”/73 cm.
- The Hampton Studio; entrance to the client viewing room has a width of 28”/71.5 cm. The width to the discussion room is 28”/71.5 cm.
- Demonstration Kitchen; access to 1 st floor kitchen 28½”/73 cm.
- 2 uni–sex toilets; these are located on the landing between the two floors. These toilets have 2 steps leading up to the outer door, where you can access the 2 interior doors to the cubicles. The main entrance door to 1 st floor toilets has an access width of 32”/81.5 cm. Both entrance doors to toilet cubicles have an access with of 28”/71.5 cm.
2nd Floor
1st flight of stairs up to a mid floor landing 9 steps, 2nd flight of stairs up to the 2nd floor landing of 9 steps. The width of the stairs are 83cms
The 2nd floor consists of 2 meeting client rooms (Blue and Red Room) and 2 storage rooms. The door accesses are both 77cm width.
The 2 storage rooms are non accessible to clients and staff only.
