The River ThamesThroughout the year the river's huge array of music festivals, museums, art galleries, theatres and stately homes promise to feed the minds of the most discerning culture lovers while families will find plenty to keep them amused in the farm attractions, steam railways, zoos and theme parks. Come rain or shine, with such a wide selection of Thames events there will always be something special for everyone to enjoy and remember. The stretch of river across the road from our facility is charming and well worth walking along – or you may enjoy a quiet drink on the terrace at the Magpie Pub watching the boats go past. |

The Sunbury Millennium Embroidery & Walled GardenJust a few minutes walk from the Studios near the River Thames, the Sunbury Embroidery Gallery opened in the summer of 2006. The gallery is located in the south–west corner of the Walled Garden, in Sunbury Village, which dates from the 18th century. The garden is bounded on three sides by Sunbury Park. There is a café for visitors which serve teas, coffees and light lunches. The Gallery is open six days a week throughout the year – admission free. Opening hours are 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday to Sunday.
